  1. dont buy the rechargeable 9V blocks, they realy suck. i opened one. there was 2 x 4V cells in series in there. 8 V is not 9V so its not even enough power to run my device

The downside of these kinds of batteries is that lithium batteries usually operate at between 3.0 and 4.0 volt, in order to get 1.5V outputs, at which regular AA batteries operate, they need additional conversion circuits. And electronic devices detect battery levels by measuring voltages, however, due to those conversion circuits, the outputs remain at 1.5V until the moment the batteries die.
    Consequently, your devices will turn off without any warning.

  3. These batteries also have a more stable and correct voltage across the entire charge than normal rechargables due to having a small controlboard. I work at a AV place and we just bought a crap ton of these because it was the most reliable replacement for alkaline batteries.
